In accordance with current legislation on the protection of personal data and any other applicable current legislation, the personal data provided will be processed by CIMA solely for the purposes described in the corresponding forms.
Failure to provide the data that appears in the forms on the CIMA website makes it impossible for us to fulfill the purposes for which the data is collected.
If you are under fourteen years of age, your parents or legal guardians must give their consent for you to register as a CIMA user; otherwise, it will be rejected.
Contact Form
In the event that you have filled out our contact form through the CIMA website, we inform you that, in accordance with the provisions of data protection legislation, the personal data provided will be used to resolve your query, based on your consent when filling out and sending the form and by checking the box accepting the Privacy Policy.
This data will remain in our files for the time necessary to attend to your query or as long as you do not revoke your consent or exercise your rights of opposition or deletion. We always offer you the possibility of canceling your data in a simple way, without prejudice to its conservation while the applicable legal obligations persist.
Membership form
In the event that you have filled out the form to become a member of CIMA, we inform you that the personal data provided will be processed to manage your application, CIMA relying on your consent, when filling out and sending the corresponding form and by checking the box accepting this Privacy Policy, and in compliance with pre-contractual measures. In the event that registration does not take place, your personal data will be deleted, without prejudice to its conservation while the applicable legal obligations persist.
Likewise, we inform you that, once you are registered as a member of CIMA, your personal data will be processed and kept for the time that you belong to CIMA and the relationship with the Association is maintained, or as long as you do not revoke your consent or exercise the rights of opposition or deletion, and without prejudice to its conservation while the applicable legal obligations persist. The legal basis for these treatments is the fulfillment of legal obligations and the satisfaction of CIMA’s legitimate interests.
Regarding all treatments
It is possible that, for the correct provision of our services, we must communicate certain personal data to third parties that provide services to us. In these cases, these data communications will be made as a processing assignment by said third parties. This implies access by the third party to personal information.
For these cases, we have the corresponding processing assignment contracts with the third parties that process or access personal data and always in accordance with current Data Protection regulations.
For the provision of newsletter services, CIMA uses the MAILCHIMP platform, owned by THE ROCKET SCIENCE GROUP LLC, located in the United States; therefore, certain data will be transferred to said country. That company complies with international data transfer agreements and is adhered to Privacy Shield, which guarantees that data processing is carried out in accordance with European data protection requirements.
Whenever you have expressly given your prior consent, your data may be transferred, in certain cases, to carry out collaborations with other professionals, in which case, we will duly inform you of this.
Outside of these contemplated cases, we will only reveal your data when required by law or by judicial or administrative authorities.

CIMA undertakes to attend to your request, either by email or by letter, and respond within one month from receipt of the request. However, depending on the complexity of the request or the number of requests, there may be a two-month extension, which will be duly informed within one month from receipt of the request.
In addition, especially when you have not obtained satisfaction in the exercise of your rights, you can file a claim with the national control authority, which is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
CIMA has implemented in its work centers, premises, systems, communications infrastructures, etc., the security measures required by the regulations on the Protection of Personal Data. We have also adopted the logical, physical, organizational, contractual, etc. measures that prevent access by third parties to the data without authorization, destruction, modification, reproduction, disclosure, transmission or reuse thereof.
Despite this, whenever you provide personal information on the network, there is a risk that third parties, whose control is beyond our reach, may intercept this information and use it. Although at CIMA we strive to protect personal information and its privacy, we cannot guarantee the total security of the information you reveal through the network under your responsibility.
Similarly, we ask you to take responsibility for the accuracy of the data provided for the proper functioning of our relationship. When the data provided is false, incomplete, not updated or inaccurate, you will be responsible for any damage that may be caused to a third party or to CIMA as a result. Therefore, we reserve the right to terminate the services provided, as well as any relationship, without prejudice to the other actions that proceed in law.
The Privacy Policy established by CIMA is in force from the date of its publication on the corresponding website; you can archive it and/or reproduce it.
This Policy may be modified due to changes in the requirements established by current legislation at any given time, by judicial decisions and jurisprudential changes, as well as by changes in CIMA’s corporate action and strategy. Publication and access by users will be carried out through this same site, it being understood that the relationships established with them prior to the change will be governed by the rules provided for at the time the website was accessed for its establishment.
